EastWest Sounds LISTENED!

The Hollywood Orchestrator now has an update that allows you to DRAG AND DROP its MIDI data directly into your DAW!

Why is this such a big deal?? Let's break it down!

The orchestrator is an extremely powerful engine that simplifies the composing process. You could hold down a chord on your keyboard and listen to a massive Hollywood style orchestration!

The problem was that you couldn't actually capture that MIDI data in your DAW...if you pressed record, you'd just see the 3 MIDI notes that you originally held down but NOT the individual articulations. (There were workarounds in some DAWs but it was a real struggle in Logic Pro 😬)

NOW with this update, the orchestrator gives you the option to view the techniques and articulations ON SEPARATED TRACKS!

"Ohhh the flutes of are doing this"

"I see, the french horns are doing that"

This is amazing for 2 big reasons!

1. You can use the MIDI data for OTHER sample libraries that you own!

Don't feel limited to only using the Hollywood Orchestra. If you have other libraries, simply load them up because the MIDI data remains the same! Maybe you love the ambient sounds of Spitfire Audio or you're go-to brass library is from CineSamples. You have so much more creative choice when it comes to the SOUND of your orchestrator!

2. For those without an orchestral background, this is a perfect learning opportunity!

Not everyone knows how to orchestrate. For a lot of composers, the orchestrator is such a useful tool to help create amazing mockups!
BUT with the new update, those composers can take a look at the MIDI data and begin to understand the techniques found in a typical Hollywood style orchestration!

This MIDI export option was a highly requested feature when the orchestrator originally came out and so I'm super excited that EastWest Sounds actually listened!

AND THE DRAG AND DROP MAKES IT SO EASY!
