😳 Well...This Was Unexpected

I had something pretty unexpected happen recently...

My Thunderbolts film score video has become my top performing video on the channel...ever! 

And it’s given me a lot to think about.

Honestly, I was surprised by the traction the Thunderbolts video got.

I think part of it was timing.

There’s just been a lot of talk about the movie over the last few weeks.

But more than that, I made it because I was genuinely excited about the film score and wanted to explore the music even further!

I put so much energy into breaking down the score just because I thought it would be fun and I'm so happy this has resonated with so many people.

This video has definitely solidified something for me I've been thinking about for a while...

I want to make more videos that I'm truly passionate about!

I'm hoping to lean more into video essays and deep dives into the music I love (alongside the composition tips and career advice I also love talking about.)

My goal is to share what excites me, hoping it excites you too!

I think there’s a valuable takeaway here for any composer looking to share their music, passion, or insights, especially if social media doesn't come naturally to you. 

You don't always have to chase clients directly.

Sometimes, it's about finding a topic you're genuinely excited about...

I've found that by sharing your passion, knowledge, and expertise in a way that feels natural to you, you can connect with a larger community of like-minded people.

It might not lead to a new gig tomorrow, but it's a great way to build your authority and connect with others who share your passion!
