⚡️ Why the Thunderbolts Film Score Hits So Hard!

It’s a deep dive into the Thunderbolts film score by Son Lux.

I really wanted to get into the Thunderbolts score because, for me, it’s such a great example of how music can do so much more than just follow a stereotypical formula.

You can take on a behemoth like Marvel and still add your own voice!

In the video, I talk about how the composers, Son Lux, used their distinct, experimental style to connect with the film's big themes...

From mental health and trauma to the journey towards finding some kind of redemption!

What I really dig into is why Son Lux's approach was so important for this film.

They weren't just making cliche "superhero" music.

They were given the freedom to be themselves! 

Getting to be so deeply involved from the very beginning, even before filming, meant the music became a core part of the movie's DNA in a way that's pretty rare.

That’s what makes this score so special and I think such a standout for the MCU. 

It's truly the soul of the film, and that's what the video really unpacks!

Honestly, making videos like this where I get to really dig into the music I love and share what I find, is what I’m most excited about for the channel moving forward.

I feel so connected to the film music that keeps me inspired!
