I got something a bit different for you today!
Soundiron reached out asking if I'd review one of their latest hardcore sample libraries- Voices of Rage! And let me say... it's packed with some pretty awesome features that I can't wait to share with you!
So Voices of Rage is actually a rerelease of an older library of the same name but it now comes with an updated user interface and an additional vocalist bumping up the total to 5 with their own individual characteristics and vocal styles!Â
So today, I wanted to share the top 5 features that come in this new and improved library:
Pre-Recorded Vocalist Phrases- From Evan Seidlitz, Mixi Demner, Aaron Boynton, Jason Kokol, and the now the addition of Redouane Aouameur
Powerful Word and Lyric Builder- Total of 6 Wordmaster patches to create custom phrases and lyrics!
FX Rack, Mixer, and UI Settings- You'll have a TON of control over the sound of each vocalist (from reverbs to studio vs stage mics to a bunch of other FX)
Rage Ambience Patch- Create a custom atmosphere with pads and synths to match your metal vocal styles!
Vocal Effects Patch- Not only did each artist record different words and phrases but you also get sampled effects (including grunts, breaths, screams, laughs, and more!)
I know my focus is usually orchestral or film music libraries but when Soundiron reached out with Voices of Rage, I immediately knew that I wanted to try something different! So recording a walkthrough for this hardcore/ metalcore vocal library was something I just couldn't pass up... and I had a blast playing around with it! 😄
