What sets Randy's Prepared Piano apart is the level of Hollywood authenticity it offers! The samples were recorded at the legendary MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios, providing a truly authentic sound that's enhanced by Randy's own unique style and perspective as a modern sound designer who regularly works with top-tier film composers (oh hey John Williams 😂)
The library includes an impressive range of unique samples, from piano tones to more experimental sounds that you likely won't find in other piano libraries! Randy's Prepared Piano also includes a variety of patches that feature incredibly unconventional techniques!
Imagine the sound you'd get from sticking dimes underneath different piano strings! It's this eerie, hollow, yet percussive sound!
You can layer a bunch of these unique sounds with other patches to create something truly distinctive for your music.
One of the standout features of Musio is the user-friendly interface. It's intuitive and easy to navigate, making it a great option for composers of all levels. Whether you're a veteran composer looking to streamline your workflow or a beginner just getting started with sample libraries, you'll find Musio's interface to be a breeze to use!
I've been incredibly lucky to connect and collaborate with the folks at Cinesamples and the Musio team and I've just been blown away by the high quality of the samples and the range of sounds available!
