The news just dropped! Albion Colossus users get a massive free update with the addition of the EVO Grid and eDNA Engine!
If you saw my Albion comparison video, I mentioned how Colossus felt like it was missing content compared to other Albions. But with these new added features, Colossus is finally starting to feel like a true Albion library!
The EVO Grid has 10 strings, 4 brass, 4 woodwinds, and 8 granular evolutions that give you these amazing acoustic textures all handcrafted in this powerful engine! Then the eDNA engine is a comprehensive sound design tool that gives you full control over 995 different warped and processed techniques from Colossus!
When Albion Colossus first released, I was a bit confused as to why something like the eDNA engine was left out in the first place. If we look at other Albions, the engine became a staple point! So, I'm definitely excited to see its big return in this new update!
If you're an Albion Colossus user already, make sure you head on over to the Spitfire Audio Downloader app and update your library. It's free and you'll get a ton more content with this upgrade (38 gigs worth of content to be exact!)
