🧠 Feeling Stuck as a Composer? Try This!

My most recent video is all about the importance of a music mastermind, how you can create one, and how we’ve structured ours if you want to copy our strategy!

I just released a video for all the driven composers, all the passionate musicians, and all the true creatives out there who have put in the work…

  • They practice their mockup chops

  • They’ve reached out to potential clients

  • They KNOW the music…

They’ve tried everything but they aren’t seeing the results!

They aren’t getting the work opportunities or paid gigs they thought they would.

So now they can’t help but feel stuck, unmotivated, and they just don’t know what their next step is in their music journey!

I know the feeling. I know the frustration. It’s hard!

I’ve talked to quite a few composers who experience the exact same thing!

That’s why the best step you can take to NOT lose motivation even during these major dips is to find a way to hold yourself accountable.

The thing is, that’s much easier said than done.

It’s hard to stay motivated and productive in our music careers when nothing seems to be working!

So the trick is to take the pressure off of yourself and find people who can help you along the way.

This is the magic of a music mastermind; some kind of accountability group!

  • These are the people who will keep you motivated.

  • These are the people who care about your goals.

  • These are the people who want to see you succeed.

You’d be surprised at how energized and appreciative you’ll feel just by being part of a small music mastermind!

Earlier this year, me and a few musician/YouTube creator friends decided to meet once a month for structured get-togethers where we chat about our goals, our current challenges, and how we can hold one another accountable in sustaining our progress (even when we feel in a slump!)

This is from our most recent meeting! ⤵️

After each one of our meetings, I feel rejuvenated!

My motivation surges and I always feel validated that-yes I AM on the right track!

And this consistent sense of motivation is what keeps me progressing forward even during the moments when I feel lost or stuck!

This group is what helps me sustain my momentum.

That’s why I truly believe every composer (honestly every creative person) should join or even create their own accountability group.
