🎛️ Going BEYOND Keyswitches with Musio!

I want to give you an alternative to keyswitching that I've recently implemented into my own Logic template! This method completely removes the switches from my keyboard all together and uses a MIDI controller to switch between articulations!

A few days ago, we talked about how you can create custom Musio keyswitches thanks to articulation sets in Logic Pro! 🎹

You can now try Musio for Free through my affiliate link!

For all the PROS you get with keyswitches, there are of course gonna be some CONS as well. They're not great when dealing with different instrument ranges and you have to remember which key goes to which switch...

And this can all lead to the wrong switches being triggered and an overlap between instruments and their ranges across different sample libraries and developers!

Today, I wanted to give you an alternative to keyswitching that I've recently implemented into my own Logic template! This method completely removes the switches from my keyboard all together and uses a MIDI controller to switch between articulations!

I love this option especially for something like Musio because I can load all my individual articulations into a single instance and use a MIDI controller like TouchOSC to switch from legatos to staccatos to trills and so on!

So if you're tired of keyswitches and in need of an alternative, then using your MIDI controller and MIDI CCs could be a a great option for you! If you want to learn more about this process, then be sure to check out my recent video:

I think you'll get some serious value out of this one! We'll chat soon and as always... Happy Composing!
