Imagine having the opportunity to infuse your compositions with the enchanting sound of a rare vintage classic, reinvented for the modern era. The Electric Home Piano from Westwood Instruments is a true gem, with only a small handful ever made. It was specifically designed for home use, boasting a distinctive sound that resonates with warmth and exudes a unique mojo!
Westwood is known for their incredible attention to detail when capturing the essence of musical instruments. With the Electric Home Piano, they expertly preserved its traditional sound, while adding their own touch of warmth and textural richness. Through an innovative recording technique involving hand-muting the metal tone bars, Westwood was able to unlock a distinct percussive sound that sets this electric piano apart from any other!
The Electric Home Piano even offers a set of complimentary textural sounds, carefully derived from the original recordings. These sounds will transport your music into a completely new and exciting space, and with the new "texture" fader, you'll explore some amazing uncharted sonic territories!
Within the library, you'll get three mic positions (cab, room, & gallery) and a production-ready mix, enabling you to achieve the perfect balance and ambiance for your compositions! Westwood even recorded authentic tape samples directly from the electric piano's built-in cassette deck, infusing your music with this organic, vintage vibe!
One of my favorite aspects of this library is that it's built on Westwoods new EVERGREEN framework. This universal engine and interface ensure a seamless integration with all of their acoustic and orchestral-based sampled instruments, providing you with a cohesive and streamlined workflow.
