The other day I created a video on the latest platform that has potential to be a new central location for musicians and composers!
Threads, Instagram's new app, is designed to facilitate quality conversations and genuine community building. Unlike other platforms, (including Instagram itself) it seems like it promotes authentic interactions and dialogue back and forth, making it a promising space for us to connect over our shared passion for obviously music, film scores, DAW tips and tricks.
I put together a super quick video on the unique features of Threads and how you can leverage them to engage with fellow musicians, showcase your music, and why you might want to connect with or grow your own community!
If you've been on the lookout for a new platform to share your work, find new collaborations, or simply to discover new music, then I hope you'll find some value in this video!
Threads is still in its early days, so we're still waiting on some basic features that probably should have rolled out with the initial launch... (I'm looking at you search tab, saved posts, & DMs!)
BUT it's an exciting time to join and help shape this community of musicians!
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Threads or how you plan to use it! And as always... Happy Composing!
PS: Feel free to follow me on Threads!
